Originally embroidered by the Japanese for American soldiers in Occupied Japan the sukajan, or souvenir jacket, went on to commemorate further tours of duty including the Vietnam War. This particular piece from Kapital's earliest collections has a navy velvet with yellow piping, and a reverse honey gold quilted lining with applique patches.
